Its a special day today!
Its day 150 of my Freedom in Two journey.
We’re finally getting somewhere!
Only about 215 days left before I’m financially stable and 580 days before I’m financially free.
Give or take.I feel like I’m doing all the right things to crush this challenge.
And the journey is amazing.
Yesterday I was going home on my bike and I was actually like:
Damn too bad I missed that billcollector it would have a great story.
All in all I think my outset has changed quite a bit the last few years and on finances the last 6 months were life changing.
Obviously most of the effects are long term and thats fine with me.
Patience and gratitude are my homies.
I’ve always been a little more patient then most people. I’ve heard that a lot but compared to my dad I’m not patient at all.
He is the king of patience.
And I think I’ve always been grateful but here’s the thing.
As a kid you’re being thought that you have to say thank you.
When you forget to say this.
One of your parents will say: Anything you want to say?
And you let all the cogs in your brain work and then you remember ah yeah I’m supposed to say Thank you.
And for years I’ve been saying it like that.
Totally conditioned to say it.
But the last few years I’ve embraced the feeling of gratitude and I only say it when I feel it.
I feel it all the time now so that part is easy.
I arrived at work.
Talk to you tomorrow!
