Today I will be spending time on creating a topic list. Coming up with a new topic on the spot each day is a challenge.
Last night the blog section of the website has been indexed by Google. So now people can actually start finding my deepest and darkest secrets online. ?
Yesterday I made a proposal together with some new colleagues for the new project I was talking about a few days ago.
Today might be the day that they tell me that the project is on and that we will start next Monday. ?

We’re gonna do an exercise!
I attended a meetup of Tom Scholte about 3 months ago about personal branding. Great meetup and the thing I want to touch on is an exercise we did.
It’s a little exercise to figure out what your most dominant character trait is or which one you want it to be.
We all got something similar to the following sheet. Open it in a different window so you can see the sheet and the exercise steps.
Character trait exercise
Step 1:
Select all the character traits that apply to you. If the character trait is not listed you can add it yourself. My dominant trait wasn’t on the list I got.
Step 2:
Select a top 10.
Step 3:
Select a top 3.
Step 4:
Pick one.
Alright! So you’ve found your most dominant trait or the one you prefer the most about yourself.

In my personal branding story I picked this as the thing that was most important to me. See if you can do the same with your top 3 or just numero uno.
The funny thing is that when you show this side of yourself when writing content it’s actually a lot easier. I just throw in a bunch of giffies to do the work for me 😀
