I’ve crossed the 50 day milestone! Yet another small victory that I can celebrate.
The journey so far has been so amazing. It all seems to go really slow but when I look back on what I’ve done for Freedom in Two its actually pretty impressive.
Not everyone will agree that this is the best usage of my time because I need to grind for money! I feel that this is turning into something big that a lot of people will benefit from (in the future).
Since I started this journey:
I fully accepted my situation and finally added up all the debts to know where I am financially right now and decided to challenge myself.
I created a blog with 50+ posts.
Read 4 books on finances and written book reviews on them (as part of the blog).
A podcast with 5 episodes (some others have also been recorded). I already have 4 new guests lined-up for the podcast.
An Instagram account 350+ followers and 15+ posts. Made new friends in the #debtfreecommunity.
Spoken to the former Alderman of Finances about my situation. Enrolled in volunteering to help people with financial problems. I haven’t actually helped anyone yet but I will once they ask me.
Kept my spending to a minimum and made the most of the money that I did have. I already did that but I’ve said no to things more.
And the hardest thing -> I’ve put myself out there and I’m able to talk to people about this.
The only thing missing in this whole story is that I haven’t made that much money over the course of these 51 days. So yeah I agree that this side could have been better.
Like I said before I was supposed to start working on a freelance project on the 16th of November which fell through ?. Which would have started off with € 6.000. I could have really used that money!
Although this might actually be yet another blessing in disguise because the freelance/ project leads that I have now are even better. Lets just say that they feel better. I’m not sure how it will be financially.
Bottom line
I’m proud of what I’ve done so far. Just wish that I could have made more money to make my life and the lives of the people around me easier.
