As I’m writing this I’m dog sitting for my parents and it’s just beautiful overhere. There’s a little layer of frost on everything outside and it looks gorgeous.
I just really enjoy these little things. And yeah I know… You’re not here for the view you’re here for the moneyz! But you know what, feeling good is part of the journey as well and I’ll try to make it a bit more personal every now and then. (tip I got from @frugalkittens)
Yesterday I had another interview and it was amazing. Yet again a totally different story that was really interesting. Still can’t believe I already recorded 9 episodes…
Haha I just love Will Ferrell ?
But I was trying to make a point. I’m starting to see some patterns and one of the most important ones is. Enjoy the journey! Not just the end result.
If you’re not enjoying the journey … it will be very long and hard. I saw a poll on Instagram the other day and for most people the journey will be longer than 2 years. You don’t want to be miserable for two years!
Budget some fun money. It doesn’t have to be much. Let me give you a very simple example.
When I heard that one of the potential projects was going to happen I gave myself €1 to celebrate. And I could blow it on whatever I wanted. I haven’t been that excited about money in months. It was a great feeling. Knowing that you had the freedom to spend it on anything.
I’m always trying to stay as low as possible with all of my expenses right now and NOT doing that for just once is amazing.
Stupid right? ? Not for me. I’m going to do this again and again. I love this feeling!
Btw I spent it on a white chocolate crunchy bar. So I got to enjoy that as well!?
You know what I spent yesterday?
