I noticed a few things yesterday.
Not really new stuff but things that popped up once again.
I might not really be a sofware developer… I started off creating games that was my passion.
Then I switched to websites, apps, backends and I’ve created some amazing stuff but it was never what I really wanted.
I thought I really liked iOS app development and I do kinda but not really. For me its about the people i work with. I always jokingly say that I’m a computernerd because I dont really look the part. Except for when my hairs a bit longer.
I’ve only gone this road because of necessity and not because of passion.
I will still have to do a lot of these jobs this year because I signed up for it but I really dont know if I should still get that job as part-time mobile app developer.
My head says yes and my heart doesn’t know. And in doubt it’s a no.
Is it fuck yes? If not it’s a NO.
I would really love to get to financial stability this year on my new wants. Heck I would love to do more of this stuff and get paid for it.
Just doesn’t feel good to be a production line programmer anymore.
Btw This is not me complaining this is me discovering. I love that I found this out. Will just have to continue it until I figure out how to get more money with work I actually love.
Still 1 project that I’m really excited about that still has to respond. The kids game company. Still very excited about that.
Loved the energy there so much and I can really focus on what I’m best at. Not the programming but the coming up with new ideas, strategies, games, setting up teams and much more.
